Skull of Mary Magdalene found?

There has been speculations regarding the discovery of St. Mary Magdalene's skull in France. One would wonder, "how did Mary Magdalene gets to france?" well, history has it that after the ascension  of Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene and Lazarus entered into a small boat and fled to France. There both lived the rest of their lives.

Now how was it discovered? Well, in 1279, Charles II, the Count of Provence, ordered the excavation of a small Church in France. Before that, Charles II reported that St Mary Magdalene appeared to him in a dream. Having excavated, several tombs were opened and a particular tomb had a "wonderful and very sweet smell" according to Charles II.

The "wonderful and very sweet smell" is symbolic to the time Mary Magdalene watched the feet of Jesus with a perfume.

The skull is currently in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume.
